Cook/Aide Dietary (1303)

Responsibilities

• Prepares food for patient, staff, employees and visitors of SMRMC Health System.
• Follows physician's orders and adjusts recipes based on patient needs.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area during food preparation.

Requirements

• Works 80 hours per pay period, rotating every other weekend.
• Hours of work: Sunday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM for the day shift and 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM for the evening shift.

Qualifications

• Proficient in following dietary department policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to work in a professional and non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
• Attendance to mandatory yearly education sessions is required and the responsibility of the employee to schedule and attend.
