About the role

The Grand Hyatt Denver is seeking a Summary Cook 4 On Call who must have an in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. They need to produce a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner, monitor food production, quality and consistency, and manage staffing levels and department training.

Responsibilities

• Produce a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner.
• Daily monitor food production, quality and consistency.
• Manage staffing levels and department training.
• Work multiple stations in the kitchen.
• Perform all intermediate and advance cooking skills.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional cooking experience, including high volume restaurant experience and banquet production experience.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
• Able to perform all intermediate and advance cooking skills.
• Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
• Requires moderate supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• 5 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Able to perform all intermediate and advance cooking skills.

Pay

The hourly starting rate for this position is $25.00 and will be based on experience.

Schedule

Candidates must have open availability, on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Benefits

• Sick pay - Earn (1) hour of sick pay for every (30) hours worked with a maximum of (48) hours per year.
