About the role
Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort offers a luxurious adults-only wellness enclave on the secluded Hawaiian island of Lāna‘i. The resort combines unmatched hospitality, reputable specialists, and natural beauty to offer a completely customized experience for guests, residents, and partners. The resort’s 10 spa hales are luxurious, Japanese-inspired oases of calm, each featuring an ofuro bathtub, infrared sauna, steam, indoor and outdoor showers, oversized massage tables, private plunge pools, and cozy lounging areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate menu items per established recipes and standards
- Work up to three stations within the assigned department
- Assist with mise en place, station setup, and daily prep
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with Cook I, Cook II, and kitchen leadership
- Train and support Cook IVs as needed
- Demonstrate a professional attitude and commitment to growth
Requirements
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
Prior culinary experience is required for this position
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Weekend and Holiday availability required
Qualifications
Hourly Rate: $26.63
