Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute, and deliver safely handled food to customer-facing employees for service.
• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
• Report for scheduled events on time and to assigned areas in a timely manner.
• Fulfill assigned opening and closing duties.
• Report to direct supervisor for prep lists and timelines of daily tasks.
• Carry out assigned tasks in a timely and safe fashion using correct recipes.
• Maintain walk-in coolers, reach-ins, dry storage, and all work areas.
• Possess extensive knowledge of all menus being offered, including specials.
• Communicate with supervisors, attendants, runners, chefs, and Legends management.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the venue.
• Exceed expectations with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly setting within the kitchen.
• Complete closing duties and checkout with manager/supervisor.
• Know the layout of the kitchen and back-of-house area, including locations of the closest first aid office, bathroom, and staircases, and direct staff and guests as needed.
• Be aware of other food and beverage outlets within the venue.
• May be reassigned to different locations based on venue needs.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, caterer, or other relevant food service area.
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize as needed.
• Clean and constantly aware of sanitation procedures.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Able to read and retain information (e.g., recipes, prep lists, menus, and signage).
• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Able to speak and read basic English.
• Able to work well with others in a stressful environment.
• Able to move quickly and act on assigned duties.
• Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to stand, kneel, lift (at least 30 pounds), carry items, push carts, walk at a fast pace, and bend down.
• Work in a fast-paced, professional kitchen in close quarters with fellow workers.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.

Pay

Part-Time: $22.14 - $24.60 per hour
