Summary Of Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To ensure the quality and integrity of each batch of food.
Reports Directly To
The Batch Room Supervisor
Personal Protective Equipment Required
- Obey GMP’s and PPE’s for production areas.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Completes all duties and tasks assigned to them before their normal work shift ends.
- Signs off on safety commitments.
- Demonstrate capability to learn procedures for all products and operate equipment in all four batching areas.
- Must be able to perform the primary responsibilities and general requirements of other jobs in the department.
- With the use of proper equipment, transport pallets up to 2,500 pounds.
- Repetitively move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a cool/damp area with an ambient temperature up to 90ºF.
- Effective communication with other team members.
- Maintain productivity rates required throughout department.
- Able to accurately weigh ingredients into industrial containers.
- Safe and efficient use of appropriate tools and safety equipment as required, including hair nets, ear plugs, smocks, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Prefer relative experience within last 3 years.
Education And/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).
Training Requirements
- To perform this job assignment an individual must meet the required job specific training located in the Training Register.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic math skills.
Reasoning Abilities
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
