COO, Loss Prevention Services
About the role
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the Loss Prevention Solutions (LPS) portfolio. This role involves owning and growing multiple loss prevention products, including FireFoil, Wildfire Action Plan, Defensible Space Score, and WiserBuild. The COO will also be responsible for developing new products and identifying acquisition opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Own Product + Growth - Set vision and strategy for each LPS product, prioritize roadmaps and UX improvements using AI, and drive engagement and revenue across the portfolio.
Engage with other AACI subsidiaries to cross-sell and co-market.
Build and Lead the Team - Recruit and manage MBA and undergraduate interns to own growth and/or UX for each brand, operate a venture-studio-style model, and hire managers and mentors for intern-level product leads.
Expand the Portfolio - Develop new LPS concepts from scratch and/or identify acquisition opportunities and execute on acquiring them, evaluate and integrate new additions to the portfolio.
About You
A builder with operator instincts - You have experience running or launching something and understand what it takes to succeed.
Search fund and/or founder energy - You are excited about acquiring or inheriting a portfolio and turning it into something bigger.
Comfort with ambiguity - You thrive in environments where not everything is defined yet.
Wildfire, climate, or insurance knowledge is a bonus - Intellectual curiosity about the space is required.
Experience managing interns or early-career talent - You can get real output from them.
Willing to pursue the NFPA CWMS certification within the first 90 days - Professional intensity, intuition, initiative, and imagination resonate with you.
Location & Reporting
Based in either Greater Boston, MA, or Greater San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Reports directly to the CEO of AACI Group, Inc.
