Machine Operator IV Location: Sussex, WI N59 W22387 Silver Spring Dr., Sussex, WI 53089 Available Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift (8-hour schedules) Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality packaging solutions while ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate production equipment according to manufacturing specifications and safety requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Equipment Care: Identify and resolve basic equipment issues to maintain continuous production.
• Quality & Production Excellence: Perform quality inspections in accordance with the Pregis Quality Management System.
• Safety & Teamwork: Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and industrial safety practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Working in environments where temperatures and humidity levels may vary.
• Exposure to industrial noise requiring hearing protection.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with quality inspections, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
