Converting Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor converting equipment to produce quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Set up and adjust machinery.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Monitor production.
• Inspect finished products.
• Complete production documentation.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment in a timely and safe manner.
• Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Make repairs on any Converting Department production line.
• Work with and help packers to keep production lines running.
• Clean up and organize the Converting Department at the end of the shift for the oncoming shift.
• Work with fellow operators to maintain the highest possible standard of production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts that require every other weekend availability.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand 8-12 hours during a shift.

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $22/HR.
