Conversion Specialist

COCC is seeking a Conversion Representative to support financial institution conversions to the COCC INSIGHT platform, serving as a trusted application and process expert throughout the transition. This role works closely with banking systems, databases, vendor interfaces, and client data to ensure accurate, successful conversions.

What You’ll Do

• Captures all aspects of client conversions targeting Mission Excellence goals
• Uses the conversion guide and standardized templates to complete deposit-related tasks
• Performs analysis of existing system for conversion to the COCC INSIGHT system
• Interviews client regarding existing Deposit product usage and functionality
• Implements outside vendor interfaces required
• Tests all conversion-related data, transactions, products, and reports
• Follows established procedures to create System Options, Branch Operations, and product information in the database
• Completes batch setup requirements using standard conversion templates
• Coordinates specification questions between client and conversion analyst
• Documents all client communications regarding decisions made to data specifications and product validations
• Translates and explains technical information, concepts, and requirements in user-friendly language
• Updates and documents processes and procedural changes to interfaces with third-party vendors for clients

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of two years of banking experience in a back-office or Deposit operations environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging client interactions professionally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to analyze information and provide clear conclusions and recommendations
• Familiarity with data specification requirements and database-driven systems
• Experience translating technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language
• Knowledge of financial services applications and database query tools
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Comfort handling confidential customer information (NPCI)
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with some weekend, off-hours, and extended-hour requirements
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed

Pay

The salary range for this role is $61,193-$82,805 per year.
