Conversion Onsite Service Engineer - NY

About the role

Your mission as the Onsite Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies. You will report into the Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems
• Diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly

Requirements

• High School Diploma (AS degree preferred; full military equivalent may substitute for AS degree)
• 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum
• Customer-facing experience preferred

• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards to ensure organizational, safety and health obligations are met

• Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports
• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work, e.g., technical drawings
