Responsibilities

• Open and close the site according to the posted schedule, maintain the grounds, and perform light cleanup (litter, small spillage).
• Warmly greet patrons upon arrival and guide them on safe and proper waste/recycling disposal.
• Lend a hand to visitors who need physical assistance disposing of their waste.
• Monitor container levels and safely operate the site compactor daily.
• Assist drivers with covering and arranging waste containers as needed.

Requirements

• Great customer service skills and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift up to 10 lbs (occasionally up to 20 lbs).
• Comfortable working outdoors (~90% of the time) across varying seasonal weather conditions.
• Ability to follow simple safety rules, ordinances, and instructions under limited supervision.

Schedule

• Work up to a maximum of 32 hours per week—ideal for staying busy while keeping plenty of personal time.
• Must be available to work weekend shifts.

Pay

Starting pay: $10.41 / hour
