Convenience Store Supervisor

Convenience Store Supervisor position at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Travel Center.

Schedule

Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, Monday through Sunday, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requests for specific days off require advance notification and approval by the Convenience Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as preparing daily deposits, reconciling cash drawers, maintaining inventory reports, and ordering product as necessary.
• Ensure food products and preparation comply with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and review, investigate, and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the convenience store is maintained.
• Review and resolve customer and employee complaints and conflicts.
• Greet guests and co-workers in a professional, friendly manner while exhibiting STAR treatment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Convenience Store Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move objects up to and exceeding 25 lbs.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures and fumes.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods with some office environment.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent retail management experience.
• Must possess a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License/Permit.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to obtain ACE certification/ABLE license once employed.

Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification

• Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years.
• Misdemeanors: Theft/Fraud within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification.
• Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification (unless proof of attendance in a treatment program is provided).
• Drug/Alcohol-related offenses within two (2) years result in automatic disqualification (unless proof of attendance in a treatment program is provided).
