- Assist manager with training all store staff to ensure excellent customer service and a professional image.
- Motivate, encourage, and challenge store associates.
- Aid in creating and implementing marketing plans to enhance customer count and profitability.
- Implement appropriate promotions and ensure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted.
- Oversee maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, correctly priced, and displayed safely.
- Monitor daily retail gasoline competitor fuel pricing and communicate information to supervisor.
- Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily.
- Substitute for Store Associates as needed.
- Perform all price change requests, mark downs / ups as requested by Supervisor.
- Enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.
- Remedy and report any and all unsafe conditions.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of retail and/or supervisory related work experience.
Qualifications
