Controls Wiring Installation Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Include The Following. Must have experience in installing all types of conduits
• Perform the installation of conduit, wire, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with energy management systems
• Install and mount electric/electronic control devices, panels, sensors, and components
• Certify to or advise supervision about the requirements for material and supplies
• Provide input and assist with the preparation of as-built drawings
• Provide evaluation feedback to management regarding helpers/ apprentices
• Install Comm links
• Addressing VAV Boxes
• Follow verbal and written instructions, read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
• Select proper size wire and conduit for wiring equipment

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 4+ years related experience and/or training.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math functions including addition and subtraction.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
