Controls Testing Technician (35649)

Responsibilities

• Safely test industrial electrical equipment from 24vdc to 480vac.
• Perform function tests on all products.
• Able to use electrical testing tools such as fluke multimeter, insulation testing Meters, High Potential Voltage testers, ETC.
• Complete inspection/testing documentation.
• Proficiently interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.
• Perform QC hold points and verify manufacturing quality/non-conformances.
• Computer literacy required (e.g., basic data entry programs and time-entry applications).

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, power, and control systems.
• 1-2 years troubleshooting mechanical and pumping systems.
• 0-2 years in quality control.
• NFPA 70E Certified preferred.
• Proficient use of hand tools and test equipment is necessary.
• Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
• Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment while meeting deadlines and working safely.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Associates degree in an Engineering field preferred. Combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $33.50/Hr. - USD $41.27/Hr. Northwest Denver Metro Area, CO
