Controls Technician - Weekend

About the role

The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze machinery to identify issues and make repairs
• Implement PLC programming changes to enhance reliability
• Document repairs using Enterprise Asset Management software
• Evaluate new equipment performance
• Collaborate with technical teams for machine improvements
• Support electrical troubleshooting and document equipment set-points
• Work closely with maintenance teams

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience
• Associate's degree in a technical field (preferred)

Skills

• Proficiency in ladder logic programming on Allen Bradley platform (RS Logix 500 and 5000)
• Using digital multimeters
• Working with servo controls, variable frequency drives, and motors
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with work order systems and Microsoft Office

Schedule

Friday to Sunday, 6:00am - 6:00pm, with training on day shifts before transitioning to evening shifts.
