What You'll Be Responsible For
- Ownership of safe work practices.
- Perform electrical and control systems programming to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost, and production requirements with minimal supervision.
- Perform troubleshooting and calibration on electrical control systems.
- Test electrical equipment using digital multimeter, megohmmeter, analog source meter, thermocouple source meter, AC/DC amp meter.
- Aid engineering group with electrical design of new equipment.
- Formulate a scope of work for repairs/projects and communicate with leadership to schedule downtime.
- Responsible for safety education of hired contractors, including PPE and all safety requirements (LOTO, arc flash suit while working on energized equipment, insulated tools, spotters, caution tape/barriers, roof/confined space/hot work permits, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or another related field OR Four or more years of verifiable work experience in the field of Electrical PLC programming and HMI Software Programming and maintenance or a closely related field OR Four years or more of formal education and related relevant work experience combined with verifiable experience with the following:
- electrical control systems
- Programmable Logic Controllers, Specifically Allen-Bradley
- Motion Control Systems
- Drive Controls
- HMI Control Systems, Specifically Allen-Bradley PanelView
- PLC Software and Drive Configuration Software, Specifically Allen-Bradley
