Controls Technician - Level III

We are seeking an Electrical/Controls Technician to support automated distribution center operations. Key Responsibilities Include Supporting the effective use, design, assembly, repair, and diagnosis of MHE controls systems.Creating control systems for small to medium automated MHE, including PLC programming, remote I/O, and sensors.Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment errors, and managing system upgrades.Maintaining CMMS/EAM records and inventory of spare parts.Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, division, and corporate requirements.Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, including high-voltage systems.Reading electrical schematics, CAD layouts, and interpreting wiring diagrams.Testing and troubleshooting systems such as PLCs, HMIs, encoders, sensors, drives, and communication networks.Collaborating with team members and possibly leading maintenance efforts. Qualifications Include BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred, with relevant vocational training or experience.Typically 4+ years of experience, with strong electrical repair skills.Proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, including PLCs, drives, sensors, and network protocols.Ability to read and create electrical and control system schematics.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
