Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in programming databases for all supported systems to align with specified sequences of operation and manufacturer recommendations, in accordance with LONG standards and contract documents.
- Support the installation of control system devices and wiring in compliance with LONG standards and contract documents.
- Assist with calibration and check-out of control systems, ensuring that specified sequence of operations and commissioning obligations are met.
- Collaborate with the graphics coordinator or provide necessary labor and expertise for the creation and delivery of graphical user interfaces as required, adhering to LONG standards and contract documents.
- Participate in panel fabrication and light programming tasks.
- Travel to job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Strong analytical skills in addressing software and integration challenges.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
- Some background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and take initiative.
- Excellent customer service and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with various levels of personnel.
- Legal driving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Building Automation Educational Program or similar field of study.
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods.
- Climbing ladders or scaffolds.
- Working in tight spaces.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Functioning at heights.
