About the role
A Specific Accountabilities Controls Technician / Industrial Electrician with electronic and mechanical level experience in a food manufacturing environment is needed. Some formal electrical/instrumentation education is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Electrical, electronic, pneumatic & mechanical knowledge, comprehension, and skills.
- AC/DC control circuits
- PLC Troubleshooting
- Ladder logic knowledge and basic programming skills
Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain a passport
- VFD's
- 120v, 240, 480v single and three phase power circuits
- 24v and 120v control circuits
- Use of hand tools, Multi-meters Analog & Digital, ammeters, amp probes etc.
- Work from manuals, prints schematics: basic skills in math & reading
Qualifications
- Good communication Skills, basic computer skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC)- Allen Gradley PLC 5, SLC 500- Siemens
Skills
- Ability to read, speak clearly, and understand detailed written and verbal instructions given in English
- High school diploma or GED
- Three or more years of related mechanical experience and/or specific hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical training required
