About the role

The Controls Technician - 1st Shift position is available in Rice Lake, WI. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Basic mechanical and fabrication skills with the ability to complete basic PMs
  • Understands fluid power basics and can integrate them into machines
  • Troubleshoots effectively and uses correct measurement tools to identify problems
  • Has basic knowledge of industrial controls and wiring practices
  • Has understanding of PLC, HMI, and variable speed drive programming and installation
  • Meticulous in maintaining existing documentation and developing new documents as needed
  • Performs basic fabrication and maintenance with instruction

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience in a related field or a 2-year technical degree
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment

Pay

The hourly wage for this position starts at $25/hr.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm.
