Controls Technician III

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on control equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level).
- Analyze systems faults and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement and automation projects.
- Read and Interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics.
- Work with maintenance and operations team to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (e.g. OSHA).
Requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and systems changes.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or related field (nice to have).
- 5+ years of experience working with industrial control systems (required).
- Strong Knowledge Of The Following PLCs (Allen-Bradley) (required).
- Manager will look at candidates with additional work experience in lieu of degree (optional).
- Experience in manufacturing environments (food & beverage, dairy, or processing plants) (preferred).
- Strong experience with SCADA platform (development, troubleshooting, and upgrades) (preferred).
- Understanding of process control loops and PID tuning (preferred).
- Ability to work with CMMS systems (preferred).
