Controls Technician - Full Time

Join a dynamic team supporting automated distribution operations, focusing on maintaining and repairing MHE systems. Key Responsibilities Include Supporting the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within a fully automated Distribution Center.Designing, operating, repairing, and diagnosing control systems for small to medium-sized MHE systems, including PLC programming, wiring, and system upgrades.Creating and modifying control systems using high-speed counters, encoders, proximity sensors, frequency drives, and servos.Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment errors, and managing spare parts inventory.Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, corporate, and division standards.Leading or assisting maintenance team members in system repairs and upgrades. Qualifications And Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Plant Management, or equivalent experience and training.Four or more years of related experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, CAD layouts, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.Expertise in PLC programming, control system design, and electrical components up to 600V.Knowledge of communication protocols like PROFIBUS, BACNET, and network troubleshooting.Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate and diagnose facility and MHE systems effectively.
