The Evening Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems. Key duties include analyzing equipment performance, diagnosing hazards, performing repairs, updating PLC programs, and ensuring production reliability. The role requires proficiency with ladder logic programming on the Allen Bradley platform (RS Logix 500/5000), digital multimeters, and basic servo and motor troubleshooting. The technician will document repairs and preventive maintenance using Enterprise Asset Management software and collaborate with technical teams for equipment improvements. Qualifications include at least 2 years of related experience, an associate’s degree in a technical field (preferred), and the ability to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses. Skills include troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems, setup and operation of variable frequency drives, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
