Responsibilities
- Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions.
- Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.
- Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.
- Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor and facilitating kanban process.
- Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.
- Install, set-up, and troubleshoot ToyoPuc and Allen-Bradley, etc. program controllers.
- Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment.
- Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local NAMC Maintenance and Production Members.
Qualifications
- Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting (ToyoPuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley) – 4+ years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PLCs – 6+ years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits and industrial controls – 4+ years.
- 2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Ability to travel up to 20% at times (including international travel).
- Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch on varying surfaces.
- Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.
- Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams.
Qualification/Licenses
- Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen
- Travel Required : 20% or less
- Shift Timings : 9 AM to 5 PM

USD 28.00 - USD 59.00 Per Hour
