About the role
Plastipak is seeking an experienced professional to join our team. This position offers opportunities for growth in a high-growth industry with strong job security.Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of RS Logix 500, 5000, computer networking, HMI, and robotics to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, and networking.
- Engineer MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) improvements.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent, strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot & problem solve.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift & move up to 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Skills
- RS Logix 500, 5000, computer networking, HMI, and robotics.
- Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems, and networking.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting ladder logic.
- MTBF engineering.
