- The Controls Technician role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of advanced automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex control systems, including PLC, sensors, drives, and 3 phase electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all control systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new control systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to existing systems.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members to ensure they understand and can effectively use our control systems.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in control systems technology and apply this knowledge to your work.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the controls & automation maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC, sensors, drives, and 3 phase electrical systems.
- Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing control systems.
- A strong understanding of control system design and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development.

Pay
$60,000 - $120,000 per year
