Controls Technician

Job Details

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide electro-mechanical repair of high-tech automation equipment and 6 Axis robotics among other types of machinery.
• Use your understanding of PLC's to troubleshoot and repair.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints to understand and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
• Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations in line with company policies.
• Provide training and technical advice to other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Fanuc robots or similar multi-axis robotics is required.
• Strong understanding of PLC's and how to trace faults and troubleshoot.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to complying with all safety rules and regulations.
