Controls Technician
Job Duties
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.
- Navigate ladder logic.
- Work with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems.
- Use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.
- Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software for adjustments.
- Understand and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Assist with general parts research, as necessary.
- Analyze and resolve machine and conveyor problems.
- Establish or adjust work processes to meet production schedules.
- Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift, and articulating arm boom truck.
- Work with Engineering on process improvements and 10-foot circle improvements.
