CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

About the role

The Controls Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building automation systems, HVAC controls, and electrical systems at the client's facility in Grand Bay, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot building automation systems, HVAC controls, and electrical systems
• Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure system functionality
• Document all work performed and communicate findings to relevant parties
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and engineers to resolve complex issues
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and adhere to environmental standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years building automation/HVAC controls/electrical systems experience
• DDC controls and low-voltage wiring knowledge
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Skills

• Proficient in DDC controls and low-voltage wiring
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Good physical stamina for on-site work
