Job Duties
- Works with Controls team in the automation, programming, and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, AC/DC electrical systems, Robots, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servos, Ethernet/Communication systems, and ladder logic.
- Aid in installing and setting up field devices such as lasers, proximity switches, pressure switches, directional control valves, AC/DC motors, etc.
- Aid in panel building and wiring, routing and tying cables, drilling/tapping holes, and building junction boxes.
- Robot trouble shooting and maintenance.
- Upload, download, and get online with PLCs.
- Fanuc Robot program troubleshooting/touch-ups.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
- Applicable education and 0-2 years’ experience with Controls and Mechanical engineering.
Competencies/ Skills
- Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft office and related programs.
- Understanding of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and AC/DC electrical systems and how to troubleshoot them.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint/schematic drawings and ladder logic.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
