Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (4–6 hours of weekly overtime typically available on a voluntary basis and paid at time-and-a-half; occasional mandatory overtime may be required to support customer needs)

We’re adding a new Controls Service Technician to the team in Jacksonville. The majority of clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area, allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Start date: ASAP. Local travel only (no overnights); company car provided after onboarding. Sponsorship is not available. In-office required when not traveling.
Responsibilities
- Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, access, etc.)
- Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, relays, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
- Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
- Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
- Travel to client sites and provide remote diagnostics when possible
- Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
- Participate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)
- Pursue ongoing education and training
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting commercial low-voltage systems required
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including wiring relays required
- Driver’s license required
