What You Will Do
- Program, troubleshoot, install, and commission BAS/HVAC controls (chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAVs).
- Respond to service and warranty calls using JCI tools and standard electrical testing equipment.
- Provide technical support, recommend repairs/upgrades, and assist with project scopes and retrofits.
- Commission systems, perform diagnostics, calibrate devices, and update documentation.
- Communicate with customers on system needs and provide efficient solutions and quotes.
- Complete admin tasks (time sheets, expenses, service notes) and follow all safety standards.
How You Will Do It
- Load and configure field-level and network-level controller software.
- Provide software upgrades and modifications for BAS systems.
- Program energy-saving sequences and troubleshoot field devices.
- Keep management and customers updated on progress.
What We Look For
- Vocational program or associate degree or 2–3+ years servicing HVAC/electronic/mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences.
- Solid computer skills: competitor BAS experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Must be able to travel up to a 70-mile radius from the branch within a single day.
