Controls Foreman

Control Solutions, a Crete United Company, is a full‑service Honeywell ECI‑Elite level building automation/controls installation and service company. The Install group handles installation of components, equipment, and devices for building automation projects across the Controls division and supports other divisions such as Service and HVAC Install.

Responsibilities

• Act as a field leader on assigned projects, assisting with installation of building automation systems.
• Receive direction from Project Managers and execute tasks in a work‑manlike manner.
• Provide direction to Controls Installers and ensure tasks are completed to standard.
• Wire low‑voltage and communication systems to building automation and HVAC equipment.
• Install conduit, tubing, BAS controllers, and HVAC sensors/components.
• Procure and coordinate delivery of installation components (conduit, cable, wire, fittings, etc.) and ensure they are laid out on site for efficient installation.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for delivery of components or tools needed for the project.
• Attend and participate in construction meetings, providing updates on job progress, issues, and coordination items.
• Attend Engineering‑to‑Field turnover meetings.
• Assist Software Technicians with point‑to‑point system functionality checks and project commissioning.
• Generate and complete project checkout documentation prior to software implementation.
• Assist the Project Manager with project documentation (schedule updates, two‑week look‑aheads, RFIs, redline drawings, job re‑estimates, etc.).
• Assist the Software Technician in Owner’s Training.
• Ensure every project adheres to department quality standards.
• Address and correct punch‑list items prior to project completion.
• Provide support to team members to complete tasks on time as instructed by management.

Pay

$28 – $40 hourly starting wage (range may vary based on experience, location, and job level).
