Job Overview
Our engineers help design, test, program and commission very exciting projects in the world of Material Handling.
Job Functions
- Conduct full scope of controls projects that will involve programming with PLC/HMI or other various technologies.
- Work within a team environment of project deliverables.
- Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
- Develop processes to help support our team growth.
- Solve problems for our team and customers.
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer's expectations.
- Develop customers relationships.
- Contribute to project teams, providing help outside of controls scope when required.
- Establish beneficial relationships with our key supplier products and service and provide technical assistance around issues or solutions.
- Develop new controls techniques or equipment that will help maintain Toyota Automated Logistics as a leader in our industry.
Travel Requirements
80% Required Travel (Typically a rotation of 10 days on-site and 4 days at home).
Required Qualification and Preferred Skills
- BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred).
- 3+ years’ experience, PLC, HMI, SCADA, panel design experience, hands on and mechanical capabilities, controls project managing experience.
- Experience with MS Office products.
- AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
- Material Handling Integration experience preferred.
Communication and Organization Skills
Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
