Controls Engineer – Innovation & Training

Prime Controls, L.P., established in 2004, is a family-owned Systems Integration and I&C Construction firm focused on meeting clients' industrial automation and control needs. What You Will Do

• Develop training for Automation Specialists and other technical employees, including creating BOMs, IO lists, and requirements for control panels.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages.
• Create human machine interface (HMI) designs and write simulation logic for testing PLC and HMI systems.
• Test new products and technologies, and develop company standards.
• Interface with manufacturers and vendors of software, and collaborate with others to address design problems.
• Help project delivery teams troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures.

What You Will Bring

• At least 5 years of industrial automation experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a Technical College, or equivalent industrial controls experience.
• An excitement for new technologies and innovative approaches to work.
