Controls Engineer

Responsibilities
- Conduct full-scope controls projects involving programming with PLC/HMI or other technologies.
- Work within a team environment to deliver project requirements.
- Learn new technologies via in-house or external training.
- Develop processes to support team growth.
- Solve problems for the team and customers.
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop customer relationships.
- Contribute to project teams, providing help outside of controls scope when required.
- Establish beneficial relationships with key supplier products and services, and provide technical assistance around issues or solutions.
- Develop new controls techniques or equipment to maintain Toyota Automated Logistics as a leader in the industry.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering (preferred).
- 3+ years’ experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, panel design, hands-on and mechanical capabilities, and controls project management.
- Experience with MS Office products.
- AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
- Material Handling Integration experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long-term without sponsorship.
- Must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel 30 to 50% at times, potentially on a two-week rotation.
Pay
Salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $120,000, dependent on background, work history, and industry experience.
