Responsibilities
- Review contracts and vendor agreements for control requirements
- Validate project design documentation including electrical drawings and signal mappings
- Create batch scripts or automation tools for improved data handling
- Maintain consistent communication with all project stakeholders
- Troubleshoot network issues in secured environments
- Auxiliary customers with system modifications and support commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in control systems for electrical generation
- Proficiency in industrial communication protocols like Modbus and DNP3
- Strong knowledge of networking principles including VPN and subnetting
- Experience with Inverter-Based Resources like solar or energy storage is preferred
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and related equipment is beneficial
- Willingness to travel 10-15% for site and vendor engagements
