Controls Engineer

Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Controls Engineer based in Indianapolis, IN. The Controls Engineer is responsible for ensuring plants create the best products possible in the most efficient manner. The Controls Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert utilizing their Electrical Controls knowledge to analyze, examine and improve processes in order to increase productivity. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $115,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What You Will Do Analyze plant equipment controls processes, design, and implement improvementsTroubleshoot issues with hardware/software/programs and processes interacting with manufacturing equipmentInteract with Allen Bradly and Fanuc controls systemsWork with others to detect problems and implement solutionsLearn and train associates in the correct usage of Machine Controls for assigned functions What we require 2+ years’ experience in a related fieldHigh School Diploma or GEDBachelor’s degree in controls, engineering, electrical, manufacturing preferred or an equivalent combination of work experience and/or technical certificates What We Prefer Background with various control systemsExperience in vendor resources and partnerships to assist with upgrades and new installationsAbility to create work instructions and training curriculum What we offer Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
