Responsibilities
- Design, program, and modify PLC-based control systems, primarily using Allen-Bradley.
- Develop and support HMIs, electrical controls, and automation systems.
- Travel to support installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement real-time improvements.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, technicians, and customers to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide on-site and remote support throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation.
- PLC programming - Allen Bradley.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics (AutoCAD E, eplan, Solidworks E).
- Comfortable and experienced working with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with robotics, such as FANUC or ABB.
- Exposure to Siemens PLCs.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, machining, or metal removal processes.
- Experience with assembly, testing, or commissioning of custom equipment.
