Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of Private Equity and Private Credit funds.
- Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process, including NAV reporting.
- Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and other service providers.
- Review capital calls, distributions, investment transactions, and investor allocations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with fund governing documents and accounting standards.
- Partner with investment, legal, tax, and operations teams to support fund activities and strategic initiatives.
- Lead process improvements and mentor team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of Private Equity, Private Credit, or alternative investment fund accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private fund structures.
- Experience with fund administrators and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
