Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for the plant.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee inventory control processes and reconcile physical inventories with financial records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company financial regulations and policies.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the plant finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience with POC accounting/construction space.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
