What You Will Be Doing
- Aid in achieving the financial goals of the business to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as a key advisor to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions within the organization.
- Perform a wide range of tasks independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed accounting policies and procedures, organize and safeguard financial records.
- Create and present quarterly consolidated financial statements, standard monthly and quarterly reports.
- Create and manage the annual budgeting process, prepare management cost reports.
- Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing, contract negotiations, and other strategic decisions.
- Manage the monthly closing cycle, including inventory reconciliation, payroll summaries, account analysis, and journal entry preparation.
- Create and maintain budgets and forecasts, and track operating metrics.
- Participate in special projects such as acquisitions, and compile various special reports as needed.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by the Segment CFO.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in a major company or division of a large, global corporation.
- Experience in a multi-site, manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to function effectively in a matrix organization and understand product introduction principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Collaborative working style, capable of working in multicultural teams.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of company personnel and travel up to 25%.
