Controller

About the role

Join the leading performance-driven advertising company! As a Controller on the US Finance team in our Santa Monica Office, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the successful operations of the accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Manage the US finance team
• Optimize the financial close process
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Engage in corporate strategy discussions and help analyze the business

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA or other relevant certification is strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Public company and/or public accounting experience strongly preferred
• 4+ years of people management experience
• Management of other managers and teams of 3+

Qualifications

• Highly technical accounting skills
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
• Multi-Entity and multi-currency experience
• Strong leadership aptitude; ability to mentor talent and foster career development
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and develop positive cross-functional working relationships
• Excellent project management, organizational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated and able to balance multiple priorities while managing to deadlines

Skills

• Experience in a global adtech, tech, or digital media environment
• Knowledge of NetSuite, ADP, and/or Salesforce

Pay

Base Salary Pay Range: $175,000 USD - $200,000 USD

Schedule

We offer a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office with an option to come in more often if desired.
