Responsibilities

  • Lead all core accounting and financial reporting functions, including month-end close, general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and tax filings
  • Supervise internal and external financial reporting processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of assistant divisional controllers, driving consistency and shared standards across business lines
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to support business initiatives and ensure alignment across finance and operations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization
  • Cook up coordination of annual audits and work closely with external auditors
  • Strengthen and maintain internal controls, systems, and processes
  • Manage cash flow and ensure strong financial stewardship
  • Jump in where needed, this is a role for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and help solve problems

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and coaching accounting teams
  • Experience in multi-entity or multi-business environments; food manufacturing, CPG, or restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems; ERP implementation or transformation experience a strong plus
  • Strong business acumen with a curiosity to understand operations beyond accounting
  • Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and organizational growth
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or public accounting experience strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • The starting salary range for this position is between $180,000 to $210,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan.
  • Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
