Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management
• Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting reports
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, federal and state regulations, and organizational policies
• Lead year-end audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
• Support budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis for leadership decision-making
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Oversee Cost Center Financial Tracking and reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting related to FQHC operations, funding streams, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and process improvements
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic and fiscal goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across departments
