About the role

The Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency. This role manages all aspects of financial operations, including daily accounting activities, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards. In addition to core financial oversight, the Controller works closely with executive leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide strategic insights that support organizational growth and decision-making. The Controller also leads and mentors the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization’s accounting and financial reporting functions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage all aspects of financial operations, including daily accounting activities, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Evaluate financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide strategic insights that support organizational growth and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a similar role within a mid-sized to large organization.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a finance team.
