Responsibilities
You will own the accounting engine for Moon and its sister company: accurate close, clean AP/AR, payroll operations, and multi-entity discipline - on a modern stack, built audit-ready from the start. You will join reporting to the VP of Finance as the second member of a deliberately lean finance team supporting a large, multi-entity operation.
- Own monthly close, AP/AR, and payroll operations across entities.
- Run intercompany and platform billing cleanly across related entities.
- Build audit-ready processes and controls supporting SOC 2 and future diligence.
- Automate relentlessly on Ramp + QuickBooks, and help lead an eventual NetSuite migration.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of accounting experience including controller or assistant-controller scope.
- Multi-entity experience required; CPA strongly preferred.
- Modern tooling fluency; drives automation to eliminate manual work.
- Startup pace: closes fast, documents well, escalates early.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 USD per year (Moon HQ).
