About the role

Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union is seeking a Controller with proven leadership experience and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

This position oversees general and property accounting, cost accounting, bond accounting, and budgetary control. The Controller appraises operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, trends, and increased profit opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics with relevant prior work experience
• Master’s in Accounting or CPA preferred
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software required
• Experience with ALM is a plus

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, accurate, and timely
• Skill in interpreting, forecasting, and budgeting to identify growth opportunities
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and improve financial processes
• Ability to manage accounting professionals, train staff, and lead with integrity

Pay

Starting Range: $90,443.95 - $120,000.00
