Key Responsibilities

• Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
• Managing the accumulation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
• Partnersing with local leadership team providing financial guidance and support as needed.
• Cooking and preparing internal financial statements.
• Cooking and preparing activities of internal auditors.
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.
• Managing the budget process and forecasting processes.
• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics.
• Oversight of regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.
• Hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience And Personal Characteristics

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Familiar with GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
• Passion for growth and an understanding of the company’s strategic goals.
• Successful experience translating irregularities in the “numbers” to actionable opportunities or risk mitigation.
